Sagging Seats
A seat that’s dropped or lost its shape usually means the foam, springs or webbing underneath has given way — we rebuild it from the frame up.
Broken Frames
Cracked joints, split timber and loose frame sections repaired so the lounge is solid again before any new fabric goes on.
Webbing
Sagging or snapped seat webbing replaced and re-tensioned, giving the cushions proper support again.
Foam Replacement
Flattened, split or lumpy seat and back foam replaced so the lounge is comfortable again, not just re-covered over old foam.
Cushion Refills
Loose or flattened cushion inserts refilled and reshaped, often without needing to reupholster the whole piece.

Frames & Foam
What’s underneath the fabric matters as much as what’s on top.
A lounge that looks tired on the outside often needs more than a new cover. Before we touch the fabric, we check the timber frame, the webbing underneath the seats and the condition of the foam. Loose joints are re-glued or reinforced, worn webbing is replaced, and flattened foam is swapped out — so the finished piece is as solid as it is comfortable, not just tidy on top.

The timber frame, seat webbing and foam are repaired or replaced so the lounge is structurally sound again, ready for new fabric.
Re-covered & returned
Your chosen fabric or leather is fitted by hand at our Carindale workshop. We can collect your lounge and drop it back once it’s done — see pick-up & delivery — or you’re welcome to drop it in yourself.

Most sagging comes down to worn seat webbing, tired springs or foam that’s flattened with use — sometimes all three at once. We check what’s actually gone wrong underneath before recommending a fix, rather than just adding padding on top.
Yes — if the cover is still in good condition, we can often refill or replace the foam inside your cushions without recovering the whole lounge. If the fabric itself is worn or torn, a full re-cover makes more sense.
Yes, in most cases. Cracked joints, split timber and loose frame sections can usually be repaired or reinforced rather than replacing the whole lounge, and we can carry out frame repairs alongside re-covering in the same job.
It depends on the piece. A solid, well-built frame is often worth repairing and re-covering rather than replacing with something lower quality, especially if the couch still fits your space and you like its shape. A couch with a badly damaged or very low-quality frame is a different calculation — we’ll give you an honest opinion as part of your quote.
A couch or sofa costs more than a single chair simply because of the extra fabric, foam and labour involved, and the price moves with the couch’s size, shape and fabric or leather choice, plus how much structural work the frame needs.
